While real estate speculation threatens to wipe the mangroves of the Lakes Region off the map, a powerful alliance emerges in their defense. This documentary follows the union between the NGO Anhangá, researchers from the Mangrove Studies Center of UERJ (NEMA/UERJ), and local artisanal fishermen on an urgent mission: to map and give visibility to this ecosystem before it's too late.
